Circular economy program for the life cycle of products and services
CIRC4Life is an innovative collaborative project supported by the European Commission’s H2020 Circular Economy program.
The project consortium consists of 17 partners across 8 EU countries. This three-year project which will run from May 2018 until April 2021 aims to develop and implement a circular economy approach for sustainable products and services through their value and supply chains.
The new circular economy business models will be demonstrated in four industrial areas: Domestic and industrial lighting products, Vegetable farming and food, Meat supply chain, and Recycling and reuse of computer tablets.
ONA is in charge of Demo 1 which will develop a new modular lamp based on the feedback collected via consumer reviews, consumer workshops and surveys using industrial scrap materials.
Information will be provided to consumers on the environmental impact of each lamp available in the online shop, by showing the eco-points.
Using eco-points, ONA will also offer discounts on new products, or incentivise consumers to bring back unused lamps.
